Are you struggling with drug addiction or alcohol addiction? If you are in either of these situations, then you can make a turnaround in your life by getting professional medical treatment. Drug addiction and alcohol addiction are chronic conditions that can be corrected with different modalities. At Clover House Treatment Center, we have classified programs that help treat all levels of addiction for people of all ages and religion.
Detoxification is the standard process used to remove the addictive substance out of your system. This process helps patients fight cravings for drugs and manage withdrawal symptoms associated with discontinued use of drugs or alcohol. Detoxification is only a formal process and in itself alone cannot be used to treat psychological, social and/or behavioral problems associated with addiction. Detoxification should therefore be followed by a formal assessment and appropriate referral to treatment that will suit an individuals needs. At Clover House Center, we use the following treatment programs for drug and alcohol addiction:
This treatment caters for individuals with drug or alcohol addiction. We offer personalized drug or alcohol counseling and address other areas affecting the individual. These include employment, illegal activity as well as family and social relations. Our counselor may also encourage you to participate in the 12-step treatment program at least once or twice per week. Clover House rehab counselors may also refer you for further psychiatric treatment, supplementary medication and employment opportunities among other services.
In our group counseling sessions, we encourage peer discussion to help you live a drug and alcohol-free life. Patients can interact with each other and support each other to overcome other underlying conditions. Patients in individual drug counseling may also be referred to group counseling for peer support.
Our long-term residential treatment is carried out in our safe environment for 24 hours a day. You may stay in our residence for 6 to 12 months depending on your condition and response to treatment. Our trained nurses will give you round the clock care. We also have counselors who will build your social life by offering therapies that will help improve on your behavior, communication and attitude. In your stay with you, you may benefit from our comprehensive services which may include support services and training for employment skills. Our residential therapeutic community (TC) program can cater for special groups of patients which include the homeless, adolescents and women.
We also offer addiction treatment on a short-term basis. The 12-step approach is the main treatment that we use in this program and is basically brief, we encourage patients to observe the program to prevent relapse. Treatment may last between 6 to 12 weeks.
Outpatient treatment programs are suitable for people with mild to moderate addiction who are also working or on prolonged social supports. This type of treatment is cheaper than inpatient treatment but that should not discourage a patient to stop going for inpatient treatment. The program includes group counseling and treatment for other medical or mental conditions.
